We watched the results show on the day but I missed most of it as I feel asleep! I watched the main show when I got back as I downloaded it from QZ and it is much better than the results show coz at least Brian and Roger are in it! Dan asked 'why is Roger dressed as a school boy?' LOL!

LOL!!! It was funny to see Brian dressed fairly casual, whereas Roger even had a tie on. Haha! ;D

I finally downloaded it and tried to watch the whole thing - I couldn't! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ;D Just watched the bits with Roger and Brian in it and found it quite entertaining. Though I understand that it's done for promotional reasons (and I am sure they are paying off in the end) I did not feel too comfortable with it. But it was, let's say "entertaining!" ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ;D And a big "LOL" for Dan's comment about Roger being dressed as a schoolboy! ;D ;D ;D

OK, seems like I missed something... NOT!! Totally agree with Eliza, IMO Idols is commercial bullsh*t, none of the Dutch finalists really made a carreer, only teenagers liked them and their standard commercial songs. So yes, maybe this is a way to introduce Queen's music to teenagers and increase their popularity, but personally I was a bit astonished to learn about Roger and Brian co-operating and appearing in this show. I know publicity is a good thing for them, but I'm not sure this was the right way... ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) @ Jen, I agree with you about the Pepsi commercial, for the exact same reasons. Btw, did Roger and Brian perform too during AI?

No, they just jammed around with the finalists during the sound check of the Anaheim concert.

@ Jen, I agree with you about the Pepsi commercial, for the exact same reasons. Good I'm glad someone finally agrees with me - I've had to argue the point with Trina and she still doesn't see anything wrong with it!! ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

I join you and Tiger on this whole Pepsi "disaster". I think it's some of those things that look great on paper (like AI, or the some collaborations they did) that turned out not to be a good idea in the end. A shame they didn't consult me in the first place! ;D ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) P.S. Airheads is played on the Queen internet radio! YAY!

really late coming into this sorry! I have to say I totally hate any reality TV show like this as a new way of finding talent! I think they suck and are ruining music today! I also find it really hard to take when Queen who previously have been outspoken on agreeing with me turn up to do this show for publicity! I find it terrible that they sacrifice their beliefs just for a bit of media coverage are they really that desperate! This is just another example of how they are chinging recently and I think alot of their decisions such as ticket pricing etc are not being made by them they are just going along with whatever is suggested by whoever is pulling the strings at the moment! Not happy with this at all! Sorry Eliza I don't find it a slap in the face for all Queen fans! I don't think they are doing it to wind us up or to put two fingers up at us or anything and it isn't a personal slur against the fans so I don't really agree there! I do know what you mean though I think it's just a possible wrong wording maybe? As for the pepsi thing I thought it was cool and very tongue in cheek and funny! or maybe its coz I was still in blind ignorance and denial that they are really beginning to sell out!?
