Ilove both DVD's I got. Now im missing The first set of DVD videos. arghhh. I cant figure out why I never got it. Catching up on my videos now. I want more and more, once I begin to watch. The other day I felt i had to put something of Freddie on. So out came Live Aid. The man had so much energy on the stage I can still feel it when i watch him. Sometimes I just shake my head in disbelief that he is no longer here.

Sometimes I can't believe that it's so long ago already. I watched Wembley on Sunday (also felt the need for some Freddie ). And I think he said something about "new song", I think it was Who wants to live forever. And that was 20 years ago! Btw, you can't see Roger a lot on Live Aid, can you?

I chosed not to buy the ANATO Anniversary CD+DVD last year, as it looked like the DVD wasn't that worth having (from what I read around the net). But this Making of ANATO is getting everyone hooked, so I tried and get it some days ago - well, my local store said it wasn't available in Italy (which is NOT true, 'cos I read about people who actually bought it somewhere in my very own country! ). So I finally found an italian stuff-selling site that HAD it, and right now I'm waiting for its delivery!!! I'll have to wait 10 or 15 days though, it seems . BTW - welcome back Trina!

Got my ANATO Making of copy yesterday, and watched it all in these 2 days. Amazing! Apart from a couple of bits from that Freddie interview, it's all previously unreleased material...I mean, on the first DVD. More usual stuff on the 2nd, but a lot of that it's new and interesting. I love it when Bri and Rog explain the songs, the creative process and so on...Roger got to my heart when he said something like "People always remember Freddie as a great performer, but first of all he was a great musician..." (I know the quote is incorrect, but more or less...). I laughed a lot on various inside stories, and was hooked listening to Bri and Rog explaining how they achieved a certain effect on the guitar or the drums - though I'm afraid I can't get all the technical stuff (wish I could!). Roger even giving details on his drumkit...I loved it. And that bit from "Car" on the guitar ! And as a Freddie fan, I simply LOVED the bits taken from the '70s concerts - I've seen very little of that so far, just the footage in the official videos . Roger looks so cute during "'39", when he turns (toward Freddie I suppose) and smiles...OOOH!

It's definitely worth having - for any PEB, MID or FLL! ;D Very different from the usual Queen production things, but really interesting! They should do one of those for every album LOL. (Very expensive, I know! How lavish I am ;D).
