It's quite hard to find unseen pics,i have only scanned the ones i've never seen on any other site. So,here's the first one,Roger and Rick Parfitt of Status Quo. I think this was taken in Monaco for the 1983 formula one grand prix.  the next two should be from the south american tour if i'm not wrong...   this one is with Gary Numan,at a charity boats race  and this one ... i'm speechless    |

Good job Ellie! That last stunning pic is also from the Brazil/SA tour. I forgot how AWESOME he looked back then.....grrrr.... There are so many awesome pics of him during that SA tour. My favourite is the one where the whole band poses with soccer player Maradonna. *That* smile...  If I ever get round to unpacking, and if anyone wants to see them, I will scan some candid pics I have of Roger from '79-85. That would be just great! It's a shame I don't have a scanner (yet). I could add so much more. But that will take another few months I am afraid. |

But he does look great there. have you seen the ones on rexfeatures?there are some great pics (one with his sister in 1988 i think) unfortunately we can't enlarge it  last week i bought the "becoming queen" dvd. i can't make screen shots,so i took a few pictures with a camera. these two are from the recording sessions at trident studios   and this was taken by doug puddifoot  sorry if they're a bit blurry |

A friend of mine and myself are thinking of registering at rexfeatures and wireimage for a month, share the money and download everything we are interested in. So we are saving our money. It's a shame you cannot enlarge them. A watermark would be enough to protect them....  sorry if they're a bit blurry Don't you say you're sorry because there is no need to be! Wonderful pictures. I am (quite) sure that the ones from Trident studio are also in the Killer Queen book. As for the last one I never saw that. And it so cute! Thank you so much!!!
P.S. Is this DVD "Becoming Queen" a must have? I was thinking about buying it... |

there's very little footage about queen in the dvd.
it's a bit like the untold story,there are interviews
with tim staffell,ken testi and mike bersin of ibex,douglas puddifoot...
the only things i had never seen are a few short
interviews to brian and roger talking about the tribute,
made in heaven and the musical.
what i don't like is the background music,instrumental stuff(not queen).
the extras are a picture gallery and a section about Burn's red special.
it's 60 minutes long,nothing new really.
i've also ordered the magic moments dvd,i hope it will be better.

Please let us know what the Magic Moments dvd will be like once you have it (if you like). That would be nice. And despite the fact that it could be as well "nothing new" I am afraid I will order it as well. Yesterday i got the Magic Moments dvd...it's crap.  the worst documentary about queen i've ever seen! Interviews with peter freestone,peter straker,simon bradley (guitarist magazine) and other friends of freddie. they talk all the time and there are only few minutes of queen footage (live aid and other things taken from magic years documentaries) if you have to choose between becoming queen and magic moments i'll suggest you to buy becoming queen. bye |
