Open Air in Nijmegen, Netherlands!!!!

I just heard that this gig will be moved from the Goffert Park in nijmegen to the Gelredome stadium in Arnhem!! So Sarah, you have to cancel the hotel you booked ASAP!

Wondering why they did that. Is there a big difference between the venues and approach?

From what I've read is that the band decided that Gelredome, which has a roof, is more appropriate for their concert... Does this mean hyde park will be moved too??

I think there will be installed a roof. Like they did during their last hyde park gig in the 70's.

Money really is the issue, Jen is using her redundancy money and she doesn't know if she'll have a job after May and I am getting married in August and still doing 8 gigs in total! sometimes it doesn't matter how skint you are you have to do this! This is probably going to be their last proper tour and the last time we get to see them imagine if you didn't go to any and it was the last tour I'd be gutted!!!
Brigitte the Hyde park gig has been confirmed and the tickets have been on sale for a while are you going?

Yes, money is (as sad as it is) always or most of the times the issue. I don't want to be totally broke and I understand everybody that doesn't care as well as everybody who says some things are more important than the 8th or 10th or 15th gig. *sigh* I hope it comes across that I understand all your views... If not don't shout at me cause I am sensitive! ;D
BTW I don't think it's the last time we saw them. These guys are having so much fun so I bet they'll do something similar - but maybe after they recorded some new material (ok, in my dreams!)

No Trina, I am not doing Hyde Park. I would have loved to done it. But since they play in Cologne (where I live) on Wednesday and in Holland on Sunday I cannot bring myself to go to the UK (cause in this case money IS an issue for me). I can imagine it would be fun - but you have to party without me!
But I'll be at the Wembley concert...

I just meant that I don't think you can let money stand in the way of going to one gig on the tour just in case it is the last tour they ever do you have to make the most of it!
I would never say don't eat for a week or risk losing your house over going to see them it all depends on how much you want it doesn't it!
The only reason I asked about you going to Hyde park is becasue you mentioned above that if they comfirm Hyde park you would be going so I thought you may not know that they had confirmed and I didn't want you missing the tix! You are doing way more than me! We are doing all the uk gigs and that is pushing our finances to the limit I would love to go abroad and see some over there too but I'm not risking my house for it!

I would have gone to Hyde Park but then they announced the open air in Cologne (where I live) so I "canceled" Hyde Park. That's all. And I am doing the last concert that Sunday in Holland and it would have been to stressful (and expensive) to also go to Hyde Park. I am no 20 anymore!!! ;D ;D ;D
