I know Brian blurbed on his soapbox about Paul Rogers, but what makes me wonder if there isn't some truth to this is a bit sent to me today through the Breakthru boards. It's a link from an article on www.billboard.com... "Adding to The Who's staffing misfortunes is the confirmation that fill-in bassist Pino Palladino will supplant John Deacon in Queen, effective immediately." Why formally replace John unless they need a regular bassist? |

It would be so great to hear new material and of course even better to see them live on stage again! We just have to wait what time will bring. Maybe a new Queen Album!  |

I remember taking part in a poll, about who the fans would like to see Queen collaborate with in the future. John won by a landslide. ;D

If he would be interested, he had shown some interest in the past. It's now almost 10 years after the last collaboration of the remaining three.

I don't get it anyway. How can somebody who's life used to be full of music for such a long time retire completely?? Without doing some stuff here and there? I mean, although you get older, you'll always stay a musician. |
