I know Brian blurbed on his soapbox about Paul Rogers, but what makes me wonder if there isn't some truth to this is a bit sent to me today through the Breakthru boards. It's a link from an article on www.billboard.com... "Adding to The Who's staffing misfortunes is the confirmation that fill-in bassist Pino Palladino will supplant John Deacon in Queen, effective immediately." Why formally replace John unless they need a regular bassist?

It would be so great to hear new material and of course even better to see them live on stage again! We just have to wait what time will bring. Maybe a new Queen Album!

I remember taking part in a poll, about who the fans would like to see Queen collaborate with in the future. John won by a landslide. ;D

If he would be interested, he had shown some interest in the past. It's now almost 10 years after the last collaboration of the remaining three.

I don't get it anyway. How can somebody who's life used to be full of music for such a long time retire completely?? Without doing some stuff here and there? I mean, although you get older, you'll always stay a musician.

I think John got fairly underestimatet while being with Queen.
