Argghhh! Have a look at Bri's soapbox. There is a letter regarding the UK Hall of fame performance. The guy didn't appreciate it at all - that's fine with me, coz everyone got his own humble opinion. But to consider Roger "fat and grey" and Brian "wasted looking". That was rude. Hell, they are in their 50' and no youngsters anymore! He made a kind of funny point about Roger's hair dressers, though... ).

LOL, "Does Roger still have expensive hair people?" I loved that remark! That was also the ONLY thing I liked about this letter... *sigh* Too bad we don't know the age of the man who wrote this crap, or see a picture of him, but he would WISH to look that hot at the age of 55+!!! Dream on boy, dream on!

Yep, that's what I thought. Anyway, what's his point? Using the name Queen without Freddie and John or being to old for live performances? Just imagine Freddie has not died and John has not retired. Freddie would be 58 and Bri and Rog would look like they do now. I'm sure nobody would point a finger at them, saying they were too old. *shrug*

ICAM what does that mean? Thing is though they have never appealed to the critics have they and to be perfectly honest what I can never understand is why do people not talk about The Stones in this way? Alright none of them have died or taken retirement. But their still touring and they must be nearly in their 60's. I fail to see the difference so shove that up your pipe you critic grrrr......... People like that just can't appreciate good music

Thanks Tiger! Know what? Maybe Roger gets to read that letter or Brian will pass it on. He will finally notice how badly in need of a new hair style his is .

Well said indeed, Eliza. I doubt this "critic" would say that into Roger's or Brian's faces if he had the chance to. But to write this kind of rude remark on his computer maybe makes him feel safe and mighty. And to have it published adds to it I am sure. I haven't seen the performance yet (still waiting for the DVD to arrive *sigh*) but I am sure I won't be disappointed. BTW: This guy is getting older, too, but he'll never look as sexy as Roger with 55! ;D

Just my two cents on that matter. I didn't like the Hackney performance. I haven't seen but listened to it and frankly, I don't like how Paul Rodgers did the two songs. It didn't fit the Queensound at all. He even changed some lyrics! Heck, who do he think he is? I would never dare to do this. Let's hope Mr. Rodgers will not become a instant member of Queen.

My mate said that about Paul Rodgers. She said that he changed the style and it didn't need to be. I thought he was okay!

I just saw the DVD a friend sent to me and I must say I felt very comfortable with Paul Rodgers performance and Roger and Brian were great, too. (I noticed Roger is wearing a jacket and a shirt as well that we know already... though the jacket seemed a bit tighter as usual )
