The concert's been postponed until next Friday. If people are flying in anyway, maybe we could all meet up anyway?

I heard that they are very generous with taking tickets back.

Yes you can apparently get a refund by Wednesday if you can't make it on Friday. I hope that some of us could still meet up tomorrow if you're coming to London anyway because the travel arrangements cannot be changed.

I'm so sorry for you, Coops. At least you didn't lose all the money.

I had no idea of what was happening until I arrived at home about 3.30 pm yesterday, very exhausted but happy My mate told me about it when I asked her for the time I could bring her my dog for dogsitting Even then I didn´t realized the whole dimension! The fact is that I checked all relevant sites with the result that we cancelled the event. We can´t go to London next week, it´s impossible bec of important other dates We´ll get back the costs of the tix and the hotel. But British Airways won´t pay back at most they´ll accept a time displacement til september. Most companies are beong quite good. I was allowed to use my train ticket for tonight to travel back yesterday at no extra cost (it was a very discounted ticket for a specific train)

I am still in shock about this whole thing that happened... Queenie and me were meeting up with Eliza yesterday afternoon and had absolutely no idea cause we did not watch any telly. I don't know what to say cause it would all sound stupid as I could not express it as I wanted to. But my heart goes out to all those poeple that have been killed or injured. Sarah: Thanks for your message again! @coops: Sorry you cannot see them now.

Coops rang me up today to ask if I'd like going with her to hyde park next friday. Her hubby wouldn't been able then. I really tried to find a flight, but it was no use. 350 euros and up, that's too expensive for me, much as I would like to go.

today london was totally normal..the centre tube stations were closed, but you could walk anywhere... yesterday i went out for a drink, staying at home was awful, especially thinking that at that time i should have been passing by the same route as the exploded bus, and it seemed that everybody was normal... today i met a friend who was in russell square at the explosion time and lives in euston, right at the tube station...he was shaking while telling me what happened... he saw dead corpses there and blood on the walls...and yet today nothing else was there...the streets were closed but, apart from that, it seems like nothing happened... weird... i'm sorry to hear that some of you will not make it next weekend..

Bloody hell Alessia. That sounds awful. Noone has heard from Filipe on QOL. He is the only one noone has heard from and was due in london on Thursday. I am worried.

That sounds awful, Alessia! I can figure what a tremendous shock your mate must have got. I hope Filipe from QOL is dropping a line on the board soon. I've never got in touch with him, but I keep fingers crossed that he will be ok.

isn´t it awful when people are going to an event like Queen or REM or anything, happy that now the time has come they waited for so long and then sth like this happens? It´s a tragedy! I hope Filipe is ok although I never come in touch with him, too.

I've just seen that Jen (Brian's webmistress) has posted a missing notice of Filipe on Brian's site.
