What a rubbish trophy, though! Couldn't even get the title right! Wasn't too thrilled about him saying that Freddie was...kind of...dead and people laughing 'him' meaning the presenter, of course... And another thing - the presenter said Brian doesn't like the song. WHAT?

May I ask a question? You know I´m blonde and stubborn but is there any possibility to get a VHS on a DVD? Don't have a clue either. All I know is that you must connect your VCR to your comp and need a TV card to get it all going.... Anyway I found a link that might be the file we are looking for. But I cannot download it here in the office.. torrentspy.com/search.asp?mode=torrentdetails&id=376562&query=top%20gearBrianmay.com has a transcript of the snippet: TOP GEAR: Of course we did have an award made but then we ran into a bit of a problem. We did, because you see Brian May, the guitarist with Queen says he doesn't like THAT song(?!!), Freddie Mercury's sort of dead, we couldn't remember the other bloke's name actually so it couldn't go to him, so that just left the drummer, who in accordance with EU Rock Star Regulations was floating around the Med on his yacht.
[Scene switches to a quayside... somewhere on the Med.]
Right... in a moment we're going to present Roger Taylor with this Greatest Driving Song Trophy, which we purchased for the princely sum of 699 pence. The only slight problem is the local engraver is a bit rubbish frankly, and he's left the DON'T out of "Don't Dtop Me Now" - for crying out loud.
[On deck...]
Roger Taylor, on behalf of Top Gear I'd like to present you with this Greatest Drving Song In The World Ever Award. It's to you and the other members of Queen for "Stop Me Now". I'm sorry it's such a poor quality trophy.
ROGER TAYLOR: No, no, no. no, don't say that. No actually, do. Yeah, we'll treasure this for ever and it'll go into our enormous Gong Cupboard and thank you on behalf of the band. Thank you so much to your viewers.[/b] Oh, and talking about boats: Found this on the XFM website when sneaking the pics. I think it's from one of the staff members but I couldn't find the author (sorry!). Anyway, this should make you chuckle a bit on a rainy Monday morning: I heard a good Roger Taylor story the other day. My mate was working in a studio with one of Queen's (very wealthy) former producers, when Roge makes a surprise visit. The guy instantly starts boasting to Roge about his new yacht - which has TWO masts - one more than Roge's last vessel. Roge takes this ribbing for a while, while his mate goes on and on about the size of this boat, until eventually Roge starts to look a bit narked, and everyone in the studio gets back to work. “Funny you should mention that” says Roge after about 15minutes of his mate silently gloating, “I’ve just bought a new yacht too. In fact,” he says leaning forward to tweak a knob on the recording desk and turning to the producer, “It’s got three masts.” Hahahahaha. How rich?

Uh thanks for the torrent, although it doesn't work. No seeders. But I'm gonna check it throughout the day. The story about his boats is hilarious! ;D ;D God lord Rog! Who does he think he is? Bill Gates?? LOL ;D ;D Well...you can't really blame him. Boats are his passion, so he spends lots of money on it. But what does "narked" mean? Couldn't find it on LEO.

Sorry, boss, I can only do this on VHS! May I ask a question? You know I´m blonde and stupid but is there any possibility to get a VHS on a DVD? Yes there is a possibility! It's very complicated and you need a special software (virtualdub is great), a TvCard and a lot of time and patience as well. I tried it once but I lost patience after two days

But what does "narked" mean? Couldn't find it on LEO. Along the lines of 'annoyed' or 'put out' - very colloquial. Usually someone's said something that makes you feel/look a little small or maybe inconvenienced.

The comments where they thank everybody for not voting Meat Loaf. Hahaha I somewhat doubt that Brian doesn't like the song. It's my fave Queen song....

I am currently downloading as well and then try to convert this little clip as a download for the website... But I have another 3 hours to go! Grrrrr! Don't be mad at the presenter. It was a joke I think cause the prize wasn't correctly engraved. They wrote "Stop me now" on it instead of "Don't stop me now".... ;D

Okay, I've installed the recommended programme (BitLord) and it looks like it works now. The torrent didn't work for me with BitTorrent, though!
