From about half way the tour, though, my fingers, which had never complained in my life before, began to be painful. I won't bore you with the details, but in spite of the odd day off, they never recovered. And now, nearly two weeks after the tour [26 May], I still can hardly move my left hand fingers when I wake up in the morning. So I'm getting advice and doing tests ...and ... well, I hope for the best. Opinion seems to be that I basically strained the tendons and accumulated some damage. Assuming it is nothing more sinister, I seem to have something called Tenosynovitis.

This is very worrying. Lets hope he rests lots and recovers before the summer gigs! Poor Brian! I hope he's having a good rest and the 46664-Arctic concert is still possible for him. Would be a shame if he had to cancel that. But I am pretty sure he'll be fine in July. Fingers crossed!

Awww....let's hope he will recover quickly. I've sent a mail to his soapbox yesterday morning, after reading the first part of his entry. I really hope he will be fine again.

Poor Brian, it must be awful but maybe he needs some more rest. We would really like to see him in the summer gigs.

Poor thing - I had a feeling he was suffering in Manchester when he was having all those problems with his guitar at one point I saw him stretching his fingers. Bless him!! I feel compelled to send him an email but I don't know what to say

She said he's away and pledged to 'do nothing'.

Oh my god, poor Brian! I hope he will recover soon! It´s a pity: At long last they are touring again, all (or most) fans are in heaven, and now he must suffer! I think I´ll write him too (for the first time).

You are a guitar player, too? Didn't know that.. Honestly, it's a very nasty disease.
