Hi everyone, since the USA NYC and LA dates are about to be announced any minute now I figure I start a new thread were information can go at. Is this ok?? Im really excited and at the same time impatient. I am hoping the dates in October in NYC are not one of the dates that I am busy with. I am booked for October with important stuff to do..

ok, now im pretty sad. Band is coming to the Meadowlands just one day Oct. 16th.. wtf i have a U2 concert that night and im taking a friend as a gift. So I really cant back out of that.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Im really sad.. here.. Im praying now they will return next year. At least will give me sometime to get money together to see them other places not just Philadelphia.

Queen + Paul Rodgers today confirmed much-anticipated shows for October 16 at Continental Airlines Arena (The Meadowlands) in East Rutherford, N.J., and October 22 at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, Calif. Tickets for the Continental Arena date will go on sale at 10 a.m. EST on Saturday, July 30, and for the Hollywood Bowl date at 10 a.m. PST on Sunday, July 31. Spring 2006 for a proper tour is on the cards if these shows go well. Some Paul Rodgers fans I spoke to who know Paul thought April.
I read it on QOL the second it was posted and it has taken me that long to get over here to post it! The thread there is 4 pages long and in that time only two americans posted!! LOL! The rest of it is us made English lot!!

So they finally made it. Well I'm a little disappointed they don't play madison square garden. Anyway I keep my fingers crossed for all of you in the states that the shows go fine and further dates will be added.  |

next year there will be no u2 concerts.. THANK FREAKIN GOD. They were the hardest tickets to get on this tour. My sister got me the ones for the 16th.. She is not the person im going with then. But next year. I will be more prepared. and if Queen comes back i will be able to see them a good few times.

My one friend is going to kill me for not giving up that u2 show, But ive had u2 tickets since March/april. Wouldnt be right to cancel out with my friend Greg. Hes taken me to a show in 2001 and didnt charge me whatsoever. So this is how im returning that great favor, Giving him a ticket to a u2 concert which he is a huge fan also. I would of liked to see MSG also. But MSG is all booked up between U2, Paul McCartney and i think the stones are all playing Oct. U2 is taking up 5 dates there. My other friend is giving me a ticket for Oct 8th to see U2.. Yes im a huge fan of theirs to. Im just praying all goes well with Queen and they return in 2006!!! |

Sweeties! I'm sure there will be more dates next year. In the US as well as Scotland! Queenie, there is a neat little story about an U2 fan who has been fan for 20 years. He went to one of the Queen + P. Rodgers concerts and afterwards he said, he was going for the wrong band all the time.  |
