No really. It's just an average ginny pig I think. ;D But it's very cute and neat.

You mean they can get bigger than that?

It's not big at all. It just seems to be so. It's on my daughters tummy and it's a close up. Maybe that's why you consider it big. Male ginny pigs get much bigger than ours. But it's fine though.

I would say I am not very familiar with such type of creatures. It would scare me to death to hold them too tight. What if they bite you or you suffocate them?

They don't bite usually, unless your tormenting them. Ginny pigs are very friendly creatures. You can do almost everything with them and they won't bite. That's why they are considered to be the preferred pet for little kids.

Wow, tell you what, that sounds so cool that I am thinking of getting one for myself. I'll post a picture of it once I get it ok. Gosh, what do they eat? Could you advice me on how to treat them so that they have a healthy life?

They are not very demanding concerning food. Cucumbers, salad, carrots, apples, gras/dandelion and hay - that's it. Further ginny pig feed (wheat, corn....) and water. And you need a cage with little house to keep it.
