Am I missing something Where do you lot get the idea that the relationship wasn't that good when they had rory?? Roger didn't leave her until the year after - ok maybe it was hitting the rocks but here is no proof to state that is there??

Well, I've read more than once that when Roger married Dominique and after that started living with Debbie, their relation hadn't been good for a very long time. I'll have a look where I read that...

When you meant he was cheating...well, I don't think there's any woman in the world, that would be happy about it.

I'll have a look where I read that... :-/Sorry to say that but I've heard that they didn't get on very well,too..Infact the first person Dom informed to have a breast cancer(I've been shocked when I read that)was NOT her former husband but Freddie.. :-XThis could have lot of meanings.. :-/About rory..I think she's been"out of program"if I should say that :-[But,thank God,they've beeb very good parents and they keep the family always quite serene ..

She seemed to have had both, poor sweetie.. :-/I did know about pneumonia and it seems Rog stopped smoking because of that..But I also know she used to smoke too...Btw,my former pen pal who read the Jim Hutton book told me about the cancer..believe me,I was a teenie when I had known that,so I started crying very loud..

:)You're welcome, darling!!I'm very surprized he brought Rory and Dom with him..I know he's a very special relatioship with his daughter, but I've never imaged he could be still in close touch with his former partner..Could it be cause he's getting older and he's discovering who really cares of him?..Sorry for being so outspoken but I can't tolerate what he did to Dom,even though I don't know the real reason.. :-/C'mon,she's had breast cancer close to pneumonia and he left her for such a....I can't spell the word

I think we know what your trying to say Ellie (or at least I do that's for sure ;D) @ Eliza - hitting the rocks - basically means growing through a bad spell in their relationship. Thanks you guys for your comments to my previous post but I don't think I've heard anything that I haven't before (hope that doesn't come across mean.......I didn't mean it that way!! ) I'm not surprised (even if I didn't believe it at first) that he took Rory and Dom to the book launch. I think (and please remember this is just personal opinion) that there is something special there.............. Also I expect Dom told Freddie coz she needed a friend and it was probably around the time Roger was being a nasty man with that Debbie

He is a lucky guy to have his partners care so much about him.

My online translater didn't know it. *g* Was it around the time he fell for Debbie? Well I can figure it bust have been a very hard time for Dom then. Being diagnosed with cancer and loosing the man at the same time.

Maybe they were sort of seperated before. We don't know it e.g. how long they've approached a crisis before Roger met Debbie. Maybe their relationship was already over at that point.

I agree with Eliza - we just don't know - everything we've written here is just speculation or personal opinion so don't believe everything we say P.s I'm enjoying having a serious discussion ;D
