It´s a phenomen! But I don´t know anybody who leves his voice on tapes or sth like that. Hundreds of years ago, when I was in school, we had a laboratory for foreign languages, English in my case. That means, everybody had a desk with headphones and you blabbering (like this word) was recorded so that the teacher and you could listen to it afterwards. It was awful!

Ohhh, we had that too, it was awful!!! And during my marketing study I had to do loads of presentations, which were taped too, so I could watch and critize myself afterwards... horrible!!! Especially the first ones, I was very nervous and playing with my hair all the time - I really didn't realize I was doing that while talking - soooo stupid! It´s just normal I think. hubby had a seminar similar like yours. And he told me the same! And all the participants did the same "mistakes". So don´t worry. ;D ;D But I can imagine that such a videotape is awful for oneself!

And this was the first time I heard my own voice and was so shocked that I refuse to say anything for the rest of the week! I think it's because that you are not able to hear your voice the way others do (different to explain, but biologically speaking!) so when you hear yourself on a tape it's not the same voice you hear when you are speaking. And I don't even want to discuss my video appearance! ;D

My son made the same experience yesterday: He played with my mobile which can be used as a dictaphone and was shocked about his voice ;D ;D ("No, mum, that´s not me, please!")
