Apparently Rufus Tiger is the tenth most unusual name given by a rockstar to one of his children. The full article is on Brian's website under 'what's new' for anyone who is interested.

Zappa's girl tops bizarre name poll Frank Zappa's daughter Moon Unit has topped a poll of celebrity offspring with the most bizarre names. Coldplay's Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple came second. Misty Kyd, daughter of Texas star Sharleen Spiteri, is third, followed by Geronimo, the son of Blur bass guitarist Alex James. Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, the daughter of the late Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates, is next, just before Rolling Stone Keith Richards' daughter Dandelion, who changed her name to Angela. Dweezil, son of the late singer Zappa, came seventh, while eighth place is Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q, the son of U2 singer Bono. David Bowie's son Zowie, who changed his name to Zoe, is ninth and Rufus Tiger, son of Queen drummer Roger Taylor, is 10th. Those not quite unusual enough to get into the top 10 include Michael Jackson's children Prince Michael and Prince Michael II, and Beckham offspring Brooklyn and Cruz. International New Media Vice President Mark Yovich said: "Rock stars have always been known for their outrageous living. "But no amount of sex, drugs and debauchery can ever be as bad as naming your offspring a peculiar name that they have to live with for the rest of their life." The survey was carried out with 2,300 people by entertainment online website getlive.co.uk. www.thescotsman

I always thought that "Fifi Trixibelle" Geldof was the strangest name I ever heard. ;D Rufus Tiger is acutally very nice!

I read this in the newspaper today but there they didn't mention Rufus Tiger (though while reading I had to think about him). Personally I think Michael Jacksons childrens names are stupid. Unusual name - ok. But how must that child feel that's called "Prince Michael II" - second version if his brother??? I think the children should have at least a bit different names. I like it, though, when they have similar names. A friend of mine had "Anemone" as a second name, her brother was called Florian and her sister had "Rose" as a second name. ;D My niece is called Arwen - perhaps that's the start of a new familiy tradition.

I don't like it when people calling her kids after movies! When "Home Alone" came out, they started calling her kids "Kevin" over here. Then, when the new star wars series started the name "Anakin" was quite popular.

Well, she was born a bit before the movie came out. Both parents are big fans of the books. But I thought Arwen wouldn't be a proper name because it was quite clear that she's gonna be blond. *sigh* I would like to see her again. Haven't seen her for ages!

They should have named her "Galadriel" then. Or "Eowyn". You're right of course. The books were popular ages before the movie was made.

I agree with Eliza - "Fifi Trixibelle Geldof" and even "Peaches Geldof" are strange. Though I must admit when I first saw the names of Roger's kids I thought 'wtf?'. LOL

Only the ones on Getty images. His kids names may be strange, but I bet they get called by only one name, wich means Rufus, Felix, Rory, Lily and Lola are pretty normal.
