I wouldn't call No-one but you sweet, though. But it's a great song, makes me very sad, too. "And if one time you told me that you loved me, heaven knows, I would feel that I could ski right off the bridge of your pretty nose." That's sweet. I find it rather sad. Agreed completely ;D Perhaps Old Friends by roger is a sweet song ;D bless him!!

I really like Las palabras de Amor, above all the bit Rog sings in Spanish. It's so romantic.

Uhm, let me think.......*mumble mumble mumble mumble*
It's not a simple question, you know? ;-p Well...I can say "Hijack my heart", "Sail away sweet sister", "One year of love", "You're my best friend" for exemple. As for our beloved drummer, I love "Foreign sand"!*_*

I think you are my best friend is a very sweet song. Would you say this song is about friendship or love? Well, like Eliza said he wrote it for his wife. When I first heard it I really liked the lyrics but thought it was kind of "empty". But I was extremly touched when I found out that John wrote it for Veronica, and since then my favotrite song when it comes to "sweetness" is You're my best friend. I've always thought, for some reason, that John Deacon looked so sweet and kind. I don't know why, and I can't help but having this picture of him being the pefect husband and the perfect dad in my mind either. But I honestly think that You're my best friend is kind of about both friendship and love. It's the kind of song you can dedicate to both your partner and your friend, and the feelings are really strong in both cases. I suppose when he wrote it he thought about his wife, but still made it like it's about another kind of love too... Or something like that.

Oh, it's a very hard question for a real Queen's fan! Well, I'll try to answer. The SWEETEST song is "Killer Queen" and I'll prove it now (imagine me a lawyer ). This song is full of sweetest things that can be in life - caviar and cigarettes, perfume from Paris, cars, cakes, good maners, and sex of course! Just imagine this pretty girl - blond (only blond!) hair, silk nightgown...WOW! And Freddie's final invitation "You wanna try?" No doubt, this song is extremly sweet, full of honey! And what's for Roger, I think that "Everybody hurts sometimes" is the sweetest song for me.

Yeah, I have to admit Killer Queen is pretty 'sweet' too. And it has such a cute rythm!! But I think I still have to stay with You're my best friend...

Hey, gaga94, it's OK! I wanna tell you (and others) that the OWN opinion is the best. Queen's music is unique because it has something special for everyone, something personal. That's why our guys are GREAT, not the one-song-band. And what's about "You're My Best Friend" - I think it is more cosy than sweet, it gives a feeling of home. But it is MY OWN opinion

Yeah, I agree. They kind of have at least one personal message for every individual in their songs, which is so fantastic. I loved your words of wisdom, by the way.
