It was sold for about 70 GBP today. Looked really nice... . And who would NOT want to have it... (I would never part from mine, though ). The other one had his autograph on it and went for about 35 GBP. Which makes me wonder a bit... The same stick PLUS the autograph for half of the price of one stick without his signature? How weired is this?

One "advantage" of being *cougholdercough* is that I did see the Magic Tour way back in time and had the luck to see one of the soundchecks in Munich. That's were I got my pair of drumsticks from. And because I have so many nice memories from this tour I would never sell them.

Have you met him there? Please share your memories with us! You lucky girl! How old are you exactly? Or is that a "rude" question? I saw a picture of you on Rien's page, you don't look old!!!

I got mine at Cambridge Junction in 1999. Roger and the band had to walk past me and my mate who were in the front row, to leave the stage. When they went off just before the first time Roger threw out one of his drumsticks. It went past our heads. So I thought I would shout for the next one, so I did. I'm not sure if he heard me or not but he bounced it close to where we were standing. I missed it but my mate and a friend next to her both caught it, but the other girl let go. My mate stood there for a while wondering where it had gone all the time holding it in her hand. We both screamed when we realised and she passed it to me (such a good friend lol) and I held onto it all night ;D

That backstage pass on this message board, is that your's? Yes, it's mine but you needed a second pass to also see the outdoor concerts (that was Mannheim and Cologne - of course being my hometown). This is what it looked like: Munich was an indoor concert and they played there for two nights. My memories aren't the best. Again I must ask my friend to help out. I know we've been at both concerts and saw at least one sound check. And she was the one to get those drum sticks for me (cause I was too shy - too young ). I remember that we were at hotel's biergarten very often. As was John and his wife and Chrystal. Oh, and the actor John Hurt (in shorts - I do remember that very well!) Roger *relaxed* most of the times and Brian? I can hardly remember. How old are you exactly? Or is that a "rude" question? I saw a picture of you on Rien's page, you don't look old!!! I'm Debbie's age (which makes me quite old I guess. But you don't have to look like it. Thanks to my mum genes!

You don't look that old at all! You must thank your mum for her genes ;D! What was it like to be so near to the band in the Biergarten? Did you talk to them? Chrystal seems like a funny guy, I love his stories on the fanclub site! And what did you mean by Roger was "relaxing" Was he with Dominique or did he have any groupies?

I phoned my friend yesterday afternoon and asked her to post here. One thing she told me was (and I knew my memory did not serve me too well...) that we got our drum sticks at a Cross concert in Düsseldorf from Martin, Roger's then assistant (if he's still working for him I honestly don't know). But she cannot recall which year it was. Oh and the soundcheck we saw was at the outdoor concert in Cologne, not Munich. We really must sit down sometime or other and try to get this on paper before we forget more about it. I remember that my friend had a long conversation with John's wife because they were both suffering badly from mosquito bites that summer. I remember trying to persuade Chrystal to take off these ridiculous sunglasses he was wearing. And about Roger *relaxing* - I won't say more than Dominique was not with him.

Yes, I still have problems with the year. Hm, we really should start to write it all down before we forget even more about these great times! Then again, we've been wanting to do that for how many years now? We either do it now or never!
