Are you kidding? Your German is perfect! Talking to you was almost like talking to a native speaker!  Sometimes I think sometimes Jen loses track of the mass of emails. But who could blame her regarding the heap of stuff she's being drowned with. |

When I read Bri´s soapbox and found the entry of the translation I was wondering because I thought it was Alison´s translation. But then I put it down to my all time confusion and thought that maybe I am the one who muddled something up here...  ;D ;D |

Awww Alison! I'm sure it wasn't Brigitte's intention to take credit for your work. Pity Jen did not notice it was your translation. We all know that you're the best translator anyway!  She mis-read my e-mail and I wrote to her again to mention it but anyway it was just something I knocked together for the benefit of the members of this forum and so I could stick something about it on my own site. Thanks for saying I'm the best translator - I do my best - it's not easy for a German to get it into English, I know - I wouldn't like to try putting English into German! ;D I am sorry about this, Alison. I emailed Jen right away and told her I did not translate it and she mentioned your name and will correct it. See, I am a good girl for not saying I was translating it when all the credit goes to you (and your German IS fantastic. I wished my English was half as good as your German. It must be a difficult language to learn.) But what I liked abou that posting was the amount of visitors it brought to the website. I emailed Jen about sending her the video file without the watermark for personal use for making up all the endless times I sneaked news and stuff from her and she said she might possibly put up a permanent link to my little website on Brian's "What's new" page! Not bad, is it? |

This is, indeed, fantastic news - just as my 'Bohemia Place' is unofficially official, you're now officially unofficial, boss! ;D
Thanks for all the wonderful comments about my German! ;D But I think everyone's English is wonderful too and I don't think my German's better than that - English must also be hard to learn!
I'm now dealing with some Swissy stuff that Jen sent me about the Zurich press conference etc. To be honest, I'd been keeping a low profile since starting 'NOT Brian May' on myspace - I felt it would be noticed since my own myspace received a friend request from the tribute band that Jen's sons play in - Queen Rocks... but if that's the case, I hope it's taken in the spirit it was intended. Besides which, we've been having an intelligent (!) discussion about the Bang! book via my blog...not to mention the shameless advertising I've been giving it... ;D
