Why not find a date during this coming tour? Could be... And I know what you two mean. I run another website ( www.jamesspader.de) for a good 3 years now (though I am thinking about closing it for several reasons but that's another story). Through that I was contacted by a woman that also lived in Germany. We emailed a bit back and forth and one day she decided to visit me in Cologne. Booked a hotel room and I was fine with that. Of course I showed her through my city BUT I had absolutely nothing to discuss with her (apart from that actor). So these two days got VERY long (felt like a week... On the other hand if you meet someone you never know wether this will end in a friendship after some time. You might be lucky! I met Queenie on a train back from London to Germany (or better Ostende). She's my best friend now. We met through Queen - after we discovered that we are both fans of the band. But then we started to visit each other during school holidays and it's the best thing that could happen to me (but don't tell her! )

I won't tell her unless she reads it by herself. It doesn't happen very often you find such a true friend! Is she also a Roger lover? I've seen she runs a Christian Bale site, so I suppose she's a big fan of that one. As for meeting up during the tour, I would really like to! But I fear they will come to the real big venues only. I can't go too far to see them.

You are right, it doesn't happen often. And I tend to think that the older you get the more difficult it is to build up new friendships (same goes for relationships I am afraid). Queenie now is a "Balehead" (LOL) but she doesn't have a crush on him. We've found so many famous guys attractive over the years and never the same. With one exception: And that was.... (guess!) ROGER. The only common denominator.

Roger rulez! ;D So far I didn't dare to let my friend in on Roger. I'm afraid she would call me nuts. She knows I've never been much into famous guys. Therefore it would be quite strange for her seing me drooling over our lordship.

Brigitte your friendship with Queenie sounds very similar to me and my best mate. We've known each other since school but we only became best friends when Freddie died. We both found out that we had a liking for Queen. Eventually mum and I moved to the same town as where she lived so that helped our friendship. We've been best mates now for a LONG time I think she's great and we talk about Queen more than anything. It's mad coz you'd think we would get bored with discussing them all the time, but it's not!! Someone once asked me though would you prefer to have 100's of mates that may not always be in when you need them, don't always call you, may even use you now and then or would you prefer 1 true friend for the rest of your life? ;D

Just one question do you have any of the 1982 pictures? I'd love to see them again.
