On some forums you have to register to view any of the boards and then certain members are able to view/post in others. I've thought this would be quite a good idea for this board for some time.

This is quite a good idea. Problem is who'll get a password and who won't... Next thing is: Will every discussion vanish into a "secret board" so noone will post here anymore? It's not a problem to set up a board like this. It's just me having problems and nagging my brain cause I don't want to feel anybody left out!

It's not a problem to set up a board like this. It's just me having problems and nagging my brain cause I don't want to feel anybody left out! Of course it won't! There are still lots of public topics to discuss on the board! I think it's pretty obvious who's gonna be member of that secret board, isn't it? It has nothing to do with newbies not being welcome! It's the fact that many of us do know each other in person and it would be nice to have a chat about private topics, without posting this in public. The membership wouldn't be limited so we would be free to invite poeple joing that board of course.

my one cat is driving me crazy, crying at night, doesnt appear to be a sick cry but a scared one. This morning it happened at 1:30am.. I went and got him and layed him next to me, he was fine purring away. Then he was in the middle at 5:30 cried.. this time I told him to shut up.. and he followed me into the bedroom on the bed and purred by my side. Its like he already knew the routine!!

It was serious. Not one of my cats though but a friend's cat. Our cat is just crying again, too. Don't know what he wants. We were a bit worried the last days. But since he got his heart pill he's fit again. He seems to be in quite a good mood the last couple of weeks, he's really behaving. He's got his rituals, too, but he keeps changing them from time to time. For some weeks he likes to sleep on my bed and then again he prefers to sleep on the ground. Right now he's on my bed at night but in the mornings on the ground... Btw, Brigitte, could you PM me the URL and password, too?

Btw, Brigitte, could you PM me the URL and password, too? Check your PM! But this is what cats do. If they are bored to death in th middle of the night and they start crying and somebody comes and picks them up each time they do that it they will continue. Mine (the younger one) usually jumps on my older cat when she's sleeping in my bed just to start a fight. Usually he does that around 4.30 at night. Nice wake up!
