Thanks for filling it out, Molly! Although coops' birthday is in december! No it´s not. It´s april 12, ´66. When I registered on the board, I switched month and day and now my birthday is displayed int he calender in december . I guess I´ll never learn to write the dates correctly in your (UK) way I emailed with Brigitte but she can´t change it . The only way would be a new registration. Sorry, I was going by the calendar.

Back when I was 12 my appendix burst!! I was off school for ages feeling sick and stuff and my doc couldn't work out what was wrong. They blamed my mum for food poisoning and it was starting to get messy. Eventually she called the doc out again and it was a different one (mine was on hols : and he called an ambulance. If he hadn't I wouldn't be typing this now!! Basically my appendix had burst and the posionous blood was all over my body!! I spent 3 months in hospital - over the xmas period and had my last operation just after my 13th birthday!! (Well you did ask LOL) Nearly the same happened to me! I was 11 when my appendix broke. Luckily the doctor we called was good, because it hurt in the "wrong" side. He sent us to hospital anyway. When we arrived there with the taxi, the people said the doctors wouldn't be there yet (it was morning). But lucky again. The women's doctor (don't know the word and LEO isn't working) of my Mum worked in the hospital and he saw us and took care of us. So suddenly there were a lot of doctors. I had an operation immediatly. But after about 2 weeks it got worse again. The doctors operated a second time and wanted to wait if it got better, which it didn't. My parents got angry and I was taken to another hospital where I was operated once more and came out of the room shortly after midnight on my 12th birthday. Then I spent some more weeks in hospital. But it wasn't 3 months. Must have been shortly before Freddie's Death. My Mum says I was still in hospital at that time but I think I wasn't because I remember coming home and turning on the radio and TV...

Sounds like you were lucky Not so lucky at having to have so many operations and having to transfer hospitals
