What will be the next singles? And do you think there will be real videos for them? I somehow doubt that they'll make a proper video... Though I think they'd need it.
I'd guess We Believe to be a christmas single. Cosmos Rockin would make a good single, too.

I've read on the fanclub board, that "We Believe" got edited down to 3 minutes and somthing for radio purposes. So it should mark the second single. I also believe that the boys will play that one at the "Wetten, dass"-Show on December 13.
I don't think they will do some videos for the singles. They don't need it either.

I think it´ll be their credo "We Believe" because of the above mentioned reasons And if they haven´t done a video yet (when should they even? ) they won´t do any. Although I have soooo many ideas how to make a vid for Cosmos Rocking ;D ;D

Although I have soooo many ideas how to make a vid for Cosmos Rocking ;D ;D True. ;D It's a shame though - I'd love to see a new video. Do you think they'll just do live footage then? Imo that would fit to Cosmos Rocking better than to We Believe - that one would probably rather fit a video like Say It's Not True. Do you think a proper video would increase sales? Would C-Lebrity have sold better with a good video (it is a song that you could have done a funny video to)?

A good video can make the sales better, I think. But in a case of Queen this trick isn't main, because they are ALREADY the greatest and everything they do doesn't need much advertising to be saled. Of course, interesting video may attract the new fans. As for me, I'd like them to make a video for the "Warboys". I even have a script in my mind!

I don't think these videos would get much airplay. It's not fair, but they don't fit into their usual programme.

They could have done more promotion for the album and single - not talking about videos here. If I wasn't a Queen fan the album release would have gone unnoticed by me. I have seen one TV ad and that was all. In former times when they released an album it was literally everywhere around the city. I am sure the album could have charted higher. I was surprised that under these circumstances it even made the Top Ten!

Good point! I've noticed the tv spot too, but that's all. Take AC/DC for example, they had massive airplay and adverts and made it No. 1! Not speak from their speed of light sellout of the upcoming tour. What do they do right what Queen have done wrong?

I don't know why they bother with single releases!! It's like Brigitte said there has been no promotion whatsoever...............at the end of the day they maybe Queen but they still have to get out there and sell the item!! If a single does get released they are gonna have to make a video..............

Huh? Which websites do you mean? All those QOL websites that promoted the album as well as the German one (cosmosrocks.de - never been there) or the EMI one. Guess this is easier then putting up real promotional tools like posters, tv or radio ads, etc.

At the end of the day though I didn't even know there were EMI websites dedicated to this album!! It may be all well and good setting up websites but what about marketing them??? I don't agree with whomever is in charge of marketing with this band LOL

Second every word, Jenny. I read over on QOL from member Ian-Highlander that the EMI representative at the album preview was asked during as to why no videos. Quoting Ian-Highlander: "His answer was simply, they (EMI) didn't feel it was worth spending the money when almost everyone would watch it on a screen two inches wide (Youtube) and that they had better promotional things to spend the money on..."Well done Not!
