I did think recently "It'd be nice to have the musical at home, to watch", then I finally took the time to read the newest fanclub magazine - and tadaa! They're making a movie.
So what do you think of it? Do you think they'll they take musical cast as actors?
I want Jim Sturgess as Galileo! (Oh well, maybe, it's just that I'm somewhat a fan, and I think he did well in Across the Universe...)

I'll watch this movie with pleasure because I didin't (and probably I won't) have chance to see it live. I hope they aren't going to change a lot of original plot. And I hope they take musical actors to act in movie:)

Finally! It would be very interesting to see who will play which roles! In addition, it's also very exciting that they decided to bring the musical to the Netherlands! That means I don't have to travel so far to see it! I asked Brian about it, but the news was so fresh, he couldn't remember it

I would love to see an actual recording of the London Show, rather than a movie. I cant really see how a movie will work but i could be wrong! I cant see them releasing a dvd of the show at the moment either because it might mean that less people go to the Dominion to see it if they can watch it at home. I can dream though! :-)

A recording of the London show would be brilliant cause I think it's the best I have ever seen. Also the audience is alway great there. Over here people tend to keep seated and only get up during the last 3-5 songs.

I have yet to see the London version. But I quite liked the German Galileo and Scramouche (though I think it wasn't the main actress I saw). The couldn't adopt it to the local things if they're doing a movie though. I think it's a good thing that the musical changes slightly from time to time.
A movie is another medium. I think it has to be somewhat different. A recording of the musical just wouldn't do it justice - neither the musical, nor the movie.
