I already told my parents some time ago that I want to go to Montreux but they said it's to far for a day trip.  And you would neeed that sticker on your car for the motorways. Anyway, I have asked my mum yesterday and she said that they speak French and all street signs etc are French. But she also said we should find someone who speaks at least Swiss German. But I guess it's gonna be expensive. Before I went to the concert in Basel I informed myself and a night at the youthhostel would have cost as much as the ticket to the conert (80SFR or about 55 Euro)! OK, on the internet I could only look for single rooms,but still. And that was Basel, Montreux is at Lake Geneva. My mum said she's never seen so many Rolls Royce in one place like in Geneva... I still think it's a great idea because I wanted to go there someday anyway. They'll be able to understand "Freddie Mercury" in very language, I guess. |

That sticker you need on your car to drive on the Swiss motorway is damn expensive!!! We chose to drive through France (Mullhouse) instead. I've been to Genova a few years ago, beautiful city with loads of Rolls Royces indeed! From Genova it's easy to drive to Montreux, you don't need to use the motorway then. Never been there though...  @ Jen+Eliza: can I please join you to Montreux?? ;D ;D ;D |

I know of other fellow Queen fans that have been there already. Maybe we could ask them in advance to get all the important info like accomondation and so on. |
