Jenny do you must buy a passport? Is it so expensive? In Germany you get a passport for a fee (about 10€)

Sorry to cause confusion!! I don't have a passport coz I've never needed one before. I would love ................oooooooooo...... sorry just had an idea for where we could meet for the first time ;D What I was going to say is I would love to have one now to go and see Freddies statue (see where I'm going with this ) but just never got round to it. You have to apply for one and to get it processed there is a fee which is quite expensive but I'm not sure how much that is Plus if you are asking people to sign and say that is who you say you are they usually want a fee too Anyway fear not ladies after the next two weeks I shall see what I can sort out about applying for one ;D

You've never had a passport or European ID card? Here in NL you are obliged to have one... But hell, that's NL, one of the tiniest countries on this planet, so it's very hard NOT to go abroad... ;D ;D ;D

Here in Germany you are not obliged to have one as long as you have an identity card. But the Germans are worldchampions in travelling so almost everybody got a ident. card AND a passport. ;D
