I understand everything what you are saying. But just think that Queen left it on the top back in '86. That's just something that no-one can follow up....I don't think this tour can follow up that one. To us fans, I think the new tour will be exciting, but to the general public I think this might be a litte disapointing. They are connecting Queen to Freddie, and him only (well, most people do)They have seen the new DVDs and seen how great and unique they were in their time. So when two middel-age men plus a total stranger(more or less) enters the stage, I think Queen might lose their great reputation as a super live band. Their performances lately have been great but, still not the same sort of scale as it used to be. The new Queen isn't what people assosiate with the name. Two drummers makes Roger look old and weak. A new singer/that don't really have any connection to the band) make them look desperate. And where is the good loyal bass player ?? No where to be found. Sorry for that folks !! But I just had to let it out. You may attack me now

At the end of the day what your saying is probably right but I don't understand how anybody could compare Queen of today to the band in Wembley '86! For a start I think it is slightly common knowledge that Freddie is dead and therefore the band of today will be slightly different!! All I'm saying is anybody whose going expecting to see a band that performed at Wembley in 86 would be a little bit dumb!!

No attack coming, at least not from my side. ;D I understand your point of view too! It won't be the same, but that's not what it is supposed to be. Queen with Freddie died at the moment he passed away. It will be a new form of Queen. I don't think Rog and Bri try to create again exactly what's considered "Queen". Because this is simply impossible without Freddie. What they try is to carry on with that very good thing and for this reason, they need somebody to sing the songs. This could be either various people or a single performer. They decided for the second choice. They are so keen on playing live. Not just as Brian May and Roger Taylor but under the name Queen. I can imagine the new tour will be "Queen and Paul Rodgers" as Brian clearly said, they not gonna replace Freddie in the common way. Let's wait for things to come. I have to say, I look very much forward to see and hear the old warhorses as I never had the chance to see Queen when Freddie was alive. Now Roger just needs getting into shape again and everything will be fine.

I must admit his hair looks much better than a few weeks ago... It's not that blond anymore and I like this "wild" look! ;D ;D ;D But the thing is still there, so is his little beard. Please Roger shave it off!!! He looked a bit tired, he definately needs a holiday! And after that it's kidnap time, and me, the drill instructor, will train with him so he'll get in great shape again!! Bye bye chubby Roger!!! ;D ;D ;D

I love his wild look, too. Gosh, what could we do to make 'the thing' go away? Any ideas?

We could give him a wax depilation. That will be a painful lesson to him not to let the hairy thing come back. ;D
