Hi just wondering if anyone knows the latest update on this news? I believe they are supposed to be heading into the studio Mid Oct. But who knows Queen change their mind all the time so it is hard to keep up with dates they throw out there.

My friend Isabelle met Paul on Friday in Bristol and he said they're going in the studio but it doesn't mean there's going to be an album.

Thanks for the info, Sarah.  I think it's nice they are recording something - might it be an album or not. A single or mini album would be nice as well. Or them just having some creative gathering that they enjoy! |

Thanks Sarah and Jmochampion for the feedback. At least they are going into the studio - It would be a shame if they did not go into the studio after Bri released it to various circles publicly and Jamie Moses. Well as long as they are heading in there it will mean they will have to come out with something in their hands for release no? If not I guess they would not be in there just for a jamming session they could do that in their own home studio's which all of them have.
I agree Brigitte it is nice that they are recording something - it is better than nothing. OMG the potential for them with new material is massive.

OK, no full album - to be honest I didn't expect one (but was hoping for it...) but new QPR dates sounds great. I do hope though they will announce the dates better then the last time. I am still suffering from that shock! ;D

I just can quote AV from the german fanclub. He's in touch with the boys and the management and he said there won't be a tour next year, because the album needs to be produced first. So we won't see them in 2007 as "Queen + Paul Rodgers" I'm afraid. |
