Yeah, but I just love him. He's my fave german singer! He's not very handsome neither does he have the best of all voices. But his songs are simply wonderful. Here you can check out one of his former gigs: www.myvideo.de/watch/213731

There is one thing that stands out for me with the entire Q+PR issue and that is: If they are not playing why is the Queen and Paul Rodgers section still up in Queen Online? I think the day Paul and the guys are not doing anything again Queen Online will delete that section on their forum. They are pretty tight with that sort of stuff. Then again the mods have been moving Paul only topics out of that section for a while now - so again not sure how to read it.
I will keep an eye on the official announcements I think they are really the only way we will know what is going on. Mind you I had some doubtful feedback from an insider this week and new material is sounding unlikely. But I do think that Bri and Rog have pulled in the chat out there about what is going on so no one really knows 100%. I have seen those close to the band be kept out of the loop in the past on purpose before. So I guess no matter what they decide to do they will let us all know when they are ready. All we can hope for is that they DO go into the studio this month.
Word elsewhere is saying that going into the studio this month is also unlikely to be going on as Bri's BANG release is all happening this month and he needs to be there for the publicity etc.
Queen change their mind constantly so they are always difficult to read. If they are touring the tours would have been booked by now if they are not touring I think we will know one way or another by mid 2007.
From the sounds of their next tour plans it sounds like they have down sized again and are keeping them closer to home and only a few. But this again is not typical Queen - if they tour then they go out with a big bang. I guess only time will tell and we will be hearing many insiders giving out different bits of information. What cannot be argued with is Bri's letter in the last OIFC mag - although vague really it does mark that some things are already organised.

Isn't Westernhagen that tall skinny blond one? unless memory is playing tricks of course. Didn't know Herbert had a brother, what's he doing?
