Seriously? Really? Let's talk about it when the dates are up! Ok! It's not completely absurd. You know I once went to Hongkong in order to meet Jackie Chan. For Jackie Chan? Do you like him so much?

Ok! It's not completely absurd. You know I once went to Hongkong in order to meet Jackie Chan. For Jackie Chan? Do you like him so much? Let's say I did. I still admire him for being probably the bravest man in the world and for his fighting techniques, but the whole thing cooled down years ago. It was pretty much at the beginning of my internet "career", when I had to face terrible problems. I joined a mailing list about him and to chat with the people was good distraction for me. I made friends there, german girls, we often talked on the phone, too. After 2 years or so my friend was determined to go to Hongkong. I always wanted to get there some time. Not only for Jackie but also for this amazing city, so I agreed on accompaning her and two other girls. Those three were really die hard fans. Owning every snippet of movie of him ever published, merchandise and other stuff. I've never been like that. I just got me all of his movies, I was really interested in. Not for collecting sake. Well the whole trip was wonderful. Apart from the fact that I didn't get along too good with one of these girls. Acutally it was the one, I was closest with via online. Strange, huh? At least I met Jackie who was really lovely, so kind and caring, almost awfully nice. Like Brian May in chinese... ;D

My hubby likes him a lot too. Once we saw a reportage on the telly about him and since then I´m impressed that he´s doing all the stuff on his own. No stuntmen or much tricks!

I lived as a student in China - see my Jazz page for more (there's a bit of a Queen connection there by the way - it was the first time I heard Under Pressure so that song always reminds me of China) and visited Hong Kong on my way back to the UK.
I'm a great admirer of Jackie Chan - Brian May in Chinese, Eliza, I like it!!! Apart from the stunts, I find him really funny and entertaining; having studied Chinese and had considerable contact with the culture, I can identify with the humour a great deal. ;D

Jackie is great! But his recent films were crappy. I like his Hong Kong flicks a lot like the "Police Story" series or "Drunken Master". "Rumble in the Bronx" and the first "Rush Hour" movie were fantastic as well.
It's amazing how much he achieved in his life and how incredible brave this man is. Doing all those stunts by himself, getting injured countless times. He once said he has broken every single bone in his body over the years. ;D

but he didn´t come, did he? Meantime I´m curious about him, too! ;D No he didn't. His girlfriend wasn't able to come so he didn't come either. I tried my best to get him to Cologne but it didn't work!! Him and Matti could have both worn their Brian shirts! LOL!

Didn't you tell him I need him for counting his chest hair? Why didn't you tell him, I am doing some scientifical research and that I need him to find out the average value of male chest hair. *sigh* ;D ;D ;D
