Okay guys, I know that this thread could get controversial. But the first time I heard the Grace Kelly song I nearly fell of my chair, metaphorically speaking. Okay, I was busy doing sth else at the time, burt for a brief moment I thought that there was 'new' unreleased material from Freddie being boradcast. Once I tuned in properly I realised it was someone else. I haven't seen him, but judging by his voice.... well I thinkhe sounds like a young Freddie. Also seems that Brian likes him. Read an article about that somewhere.... <<<thinks hard>>> the Mirror? I think... more of a comment really.

I was gonna mention him on the board somewhere coz his song mentions freddie but I don't know in what context coz I can't make out what he says!! He does sound like Freddie in an odd way and I think he would be better to play Freddie in a film than Johnny Depp I don't know if he's a fan of Queen but I'd love to find out. I have seen his video and he pulls a freddie pose when he mentions him.

Well. from what I know ( not much) he is Bulgarian, a huge Freddie fan and in a way it'a tribute ( I think). The line in the song is sth like: 'I try a little Garce kelly bit she(?)is too sad so I'm trying a little Freddie' and then he goes off on those scales that make my jaw drop.

Actually, I jsut thought about this. What really gets me is the way he moves, his mannerism. Spookily like Freddie's. I know that the video is choreographed, but even so, there are some moves....

I second that.
Ok, the very high part sounds a bit weird, but the songs great anyway. He really sounds a bit freddie-ish.

after he mentions freddie according to the lyrics I looked at online the other day he says I try a little Garce kelly but her smile is too sad so I'll try a little Freddie I've gone identity mad I couldn't work out what he says so I had to look it up as it was bugging me!! According to his official site though he's not a huge freddie fan, doesn't even mention him where it says about his influences. More people like michael jackson...................

I like the song, heard it on the radio this morning on my way to school. His voice does sound a little like Freddie's. On the myspace page it lists Queen somewhere, so I thought they might have been an influence?

His myspace certainly shows 'A Night at the Opera' under 'influences'.

Well I didn't look at that but his official web page doesn't say anything about Queen.

I must admit I haven't listen to anything from him until now. I might have a look and give it a try.

There was an article about him in one of the papers over here today. He said that he wouldn't try and compare himself to Freddie because "I respect him too much as a musician and songwriter. He's untouchable."
