Happiness? is my favorite Roger album because : - I was very much in Queen and Roger in 1994 and was very impatient to hear this LP at the time. - I think Happiness? is very personal to Roger (maybe the most personal of his albums) - I can't explain why... The song Happiness? Old friend, Touch the sky, Foreign Sand all send me shiver down my spine Fofie

I like a lot Electric Fire too but Happiness? is my favourite of all time, 'cause, like fofie said, I think it's very personal to Roger, and I took it very personal too, I love the lyrics, Happiness has helped me a lot when I feel bad, makes me understand a lot of things, just those beautiful lyrics make all clear to me sometimes and the first time I heard Foreign Sand, I immediately loved it, Old Friends made cry , so there's a lot of feelings with this album and I like the other songs like The Key, Revelations, and Dear Mr. Murdoch, where Roger gives his points of view, I really like that " But an honest politician /Is just a contradiction in terms ", I like a lot this, I share the same feeling "Sometimes the last thing you wanna know is the truth" and this is so true blimey I wrote a lot!, but, that's why I like Happiness? ;D

I can really see your point. I think this album´s amazing too. I can feel Roger there, and Old Frineds made me cry so bad! And Val, That sentence ("Sometimes the last thing you wanna know is the truth") is very true. I have to agree. with you all.
But I still think the other albums are great too ;D

I agree Happiness is a very personal album for Roger. It's not my favourite but I do like a couple of songs such as Touch the Sky and Freedom Train. I dare any red blooded Roger Taylor fan to listen to Freedom Train and not faint

I like Happiness, I Like Old Friends, makes me think of the past with my friends, Well not the last verse thats different, well it makes me think of my pets when they passed away. Roger put a lot of emotions and feelings into it. At the end verse, Roger sounds like hes holding back tears. I LOVE Foriegn Sand SO much. Its beautiful and relaxing to listen to. Also I did History in school about Nazis and so on, that I love Nazis 1994. (Go Roger, tell them)

Hm. To me it's... I don't know. Except Nazis the album is very "easy listening", very "happy" - even in it's critical and sad songs. Uhm...that doesn't make sense, right?
