Update on rehearsal material. The possibility of pics or even vids regarding the rehearsals seems to be very small now.  Just found this at Brian's soapbox: **Sat 05 Mar 05**
WHY NO PHOTOS FROM REHEARSALS?
Why no photo's from rehearsals, or details ? ??
We all agreed on our second day, that in the interests of delivering a big surprise with the Queen/PR show, we would keep a lid on all photo's for now. I think it's good in this instance NOT to run a commentary on our work in progress .. it enables us to evolve our relationship in private, which is a rare privilege these days, in the time of the Internet and less and less privacy anywhere. We are having a wonderful time. It's very draining on energy because we work long hours, but we are becoming like a "family" - like the old days .... we work, talk, rest, eat, drink and sit by the fire late at night, excited by the way we are finding our way to a new place. It's a lot like being 20 again, and starting out, feeling, "We're a BAND, now" - with all that this entails.
I journeyed home last night with Anita, who had dropped in to share some time with us..... and I really felt like some kind of miracle HAS happened. I never expected to be again on the brink of a world tour "Being Queen". I remember answering the endless questions on Queen touring prospects a year or so ago, saying, - "No - barring a Miracle, I can't see it happening". Well, thank you God, a miracle happened. I can still hardly believe it.
There will be plenty of time for Photo's soon !! In 2 weeks we will playing our first gig, in South Africa, for Nelson Mandela's AIDS project, 46664. We're looking at some exciting prospects ... Katie Melua ? Will Smith  hurrah!!!

See, I told you this would happen. It's a slap in the face for QOL unfortunately. I think that the video/pics weren't signed off by Roger/Brian/Plastic Paul. Maybe they weren't looking good enough on them....  Oh, a very belated CONGRATULATON to Jenny for her 2000th post.  Of course it took you some time to get there cause - unlike other people here including me! - you are NOT spamming the board but provide us with the most touching and thoughtful posts one can possibly write... NOT! ;D |
