I'm a fool for Freddie as well, though I prefer Roger. Roger has always been closer to me than anyone else.

Now i'm worried! The SAS Band have now announced a second date at Bisley on the 18th Dec, as well as the original date on the 19th. I was hoping that Roger might put in an appearance as he has been so publicly active recently but now i'm concerned he might do it on the Friday when i'm not going to be there!!!!!!!!!! Please Please oh gorgeous one, if you are going to appear, please do so on the Saturday!!!!!! :-)

Oooh, we could have a Roger Taylor meet!! Will embarrass the hell out of my son though cos i'm taking him! lol Haha, do it! And take pics. Ok, I have told several people about this already, but I'm so thrilled still, I have to keep on telling it! ;D So, there's this Irish band I really like, The Answer. They have become my second favorite after Queen. They announced more gigs, but none in Germany. Long story cut short: I went to fly to Scotland to see them in Glasgow and Edinburgh last week. Being used to the Q+PR tours, it didn't strike me as something too fancy. Actually I didn't realize it till very later, you know, didn't get excited or something. Then the days came and I set off. I read around the internet that they sometimes go drinking with fans. So after the first concert in Glasgow on Thursday, after taking a little walk, I chatted with a woman who was waiting for them outside the venue. I actually did it more because I didn't want to go back to the hotel yet, than because I wanted to meet the band (I didn't expect it, to be honest). The weather was shit, cold and raining, so when no one showed up, at 11:15 PM I said good bye to the two people I was chatting with to get back to the hotel (I didn't want to be ill the next day). The next day I did pretty much the same, went for a little walk after the concert, chatted up two cute guys waiting, and waited with them. And behold - Micky Waters came out, the bassist. He said hello to us, and asked whether the pub next door was any good, we talked a bit and he said he'd come back after getting some stuff into the bus. So when he got back, we (the two guys I talked with and another guy) went into the pub. We sat there, had a few drinks and talked until shortly after midnight, when he announced that he had to leave because the bus was waiting. Did I mention I had a crush on exactly that guy? I think he's dead sexy on stage *cough*, but for some reason I didn't think of that at all while talking to him. But I couldn't sleep well that night, hardly on the plane back, not at all on the bus home. I'm still totally out of reality, can't concentrate. Sorry for raving that much, but instead of curing the crush, it just got worse and sent me to day-dream-land, as if I was a teen girl. I need to work again tomorrow, I really have to get back into reality! PS: The concerts were great, too. I wish I could have just gone on like that, see them the next day, and the next, and the next...

Not funny, I was in a serious condition! ;D What a fantastic story! That must have been so great for you! Yeah, first time I met anyone "famous" like that. Can't wait until they tour mainland Europe. *saves.up.holidays.to.stalk.them* ;D Monday at work helped a little to get me back on the ground. Now I'm sick and home all week. My mum thinks I might have the swine flu, but my doctor doesn't care much, they don't even test on it anymore.

Calling all UK/GB people! So, uhm, I want to start looking for another job. I know it's not the best of times. But I want to get out of this town, and possibly work a little more in the field I want to work in. Since I want to work abroad sometime, soon, and this seems a good time (no boyfriend, pets), I thought I'd look for jobs in GB and Ireland, too. So maybe you can help me and tell me, where I could search for jobs (IT, new media, online field)? Do you now any websites? Thanks.

Oooh, we could have a Roger Taylor meet!! Will embarrass the hell out of my son though cos i'm taking him! lol We should definately do that. Oh, should I mention I am very good in embarrassing other people, their children and myself? Maybe that will change your mind... ;D No, honestly. Would be very nice to get to know the face behind the posts. Quite a few people met on here already and a few of them from the UK are also going. So this should be fun!

News: I got a new job. Gonna start in June. Question: Is anyone planning to go to High Voltage in London in July? I was, but I'm not sure if it'll work with the new job, so it'll kinda be "last minute" (because I only start in June). I think the line-up is amazing! Not only is my favourite active band, The Answer, playing, but also marillion and Gary Moore. And quite some other interesting bands.

Wow... I can't believe I haven't posted here in so long! I doubt anyone here remembers me now, lol. But just in case you do... hi! So what news do I have? Well, I met one of my big heroes in London at Halloween, Alice Cooper! I went to see him at the Roundhouse and it was amazing. I bought a meet and greet package so got to go backstage after the show. I was so nervous but he was amazingly sweet and funny. He signed the stuff I had brought with me and I got several pictures with him. It was a dream come true! ;D I also met various members of the management/road crew as well as his daughter Calico, who performs in the show. She was really cool. Here are some pictures (apologies for the size):
