Roger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He looked absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brian was cute, but the black velvet trousers he used to wear on stage are butt ugly. Never noticed how ugly actually. LOL I still love him, though. But Roger really was devine! *dreamy sigh*

AND turn on as well! Tina I think the real fans DO belong... Brian's had some stick in the press for his dress sense - or lack of it - but nothing's gonna cure my DMTs. Well, maybe if all my translations were removed from his site... ;D Hey, another thing, Eliza, you know this Roger interview and he's talking about the positive press? Well how might he know that the German press was positive? Is my great work getting handed on...? ;D ;D ;D

Either this or Serena is a language genius! ;D ;D ;D Is she German by any chance? I take very little interest at all in his relationships/private life. Here's my translation by the way: The Reviews are better than they were with Freddie Mercury by Daniel Cremer NB Translated from German, therefore not verbatim quotes. Cologne – Rarely have the Queen reviews been so princely. Rarely has the band itself been so self-assured. Roger Taylor is interviewed by the ‘Bild’: ‘We’ve never even liked ourselves this much’. Mr Taylor, the way fans are acclaiming Queen, it’s as if Freddie had never been there. How much do you miss him? Very much, of course. Freddie was a musical genius. When it came to the music, we never received such good reviews with him. What’s different without the genius? Well (laughs) I have to sing more. Be more at the front. I still haven’t gotused to that. Freddie always fulfilled that role superbly. His ego towered above everything. How does Paul Rodgers fare? He’s brilliant. He’s giving us a musical depth that we didn’t have before. We don’t sound like the old Queen now. Did you never have doubts about the way he would be received? No. He was already an established artist beforehand. We couldn’t have stuckany other poor bloke in there. What’s awaiting us at the Open Air? An even bigger, more brilliant show. We’re crazy about the amount of young people who come – it’s tremendous. There in Germany we’ve never been forgotten.

‘We’ve never even liked ourselves this much’. I love this sentence, it's so appropriate and romantic. Do you think Serena translated it for him? If you need any help I could always talk to one of my ex-boyfriends. He was so good at languages. The interview was done with the Bild, who would have been responsible for putting his words into German. I have back-translated it. If Serena is German, she would not be the best person to do that, because, as you may know, one should translate INTO one's mother tongue. I've got many qualifications in German as well as living/working there and using the language when working back here in the UK. Maybe I should be Roger's private tutor if he wants to speak to his girlfriend in her own language... ;D

Well, it would depend on the language he needs, I would most willingly offer myself, too.

Brigitte had to brush past him a few times to get her friend sitting somewhere else in the bar! To tell you the truth: I hated it but what was I supposed to do??? *still hasn't touched ground - partially cause we were leaving the hotel after 6 am in the morning and were totally pissed. OK, I was! ;D
