Thanks Brigitte, that's exactly what I meant. Lead by example kind of thing. If we let them see that they are getting to us ( which of course is very very difficult if you are one of the affected families) then they have won. Btw, my sincerest concolences to everyone affected.

Yeah I do agree and just carry on regardless but don't you think that is also a bit heartless to the families who have lost people? I do know what you mean but I felt really weird walking around Torquay seeing people who hadn't heard about the bombs yet acting normally I would be really hurt if I had lost someone and it looked like no-one cared or noticed!!

Your family and friends would know Trina. Isn't it strange that in today's world of the information highway some people still miss the important stuff? On another note, I can't help feeling that the phrase 'War on Terror' just legitimises the terroist's way of thinking and therefore should be dropped. And yes, more atrocities have been committed in the name of God ( or equal counterpart depending on religion) than for any other reason. Surely He would turn in his grave if he knew ( metaphorical speaking).

I know they would but I think I would want the world to stop and be angry that it was carrying on as normal if something like that had happened to someone I care about. Maybe it's just me! I have to agree about the religion thing! I have never been against anyone religious as I believe we all need something to help us through life, for me it's Queen, others religion. I don't like it when it is forced down my throat and I do really believe that it does tend to fuck people up! I also believe that if everyone actually practised what they believe in eg tolerance of other religions, loving thy neighbour etc etc the world would be a happier place! You will always get extremes regardless of what people believe in it's just unfortunately these days the extremists are becoming a bigger group than the good people!
