LOL, a NKOTB boy playing Roger??  I don't think Roger would like that idea, no matter how much he looks like him... I don't think Joey can drum, LOL But I don't know what to think of this movie... As much as I like Johnny Depp, I doubt he can play Freddie...  |

Yeah, I know it's a long shot...but actors can act anything.....I mean Joachim Phoenix couldn't sing or play guitar until he played Johnnie Cash...LOL I don't know though......It would be odd seeing someone play any of them

Don't deceive ourselfs.
It's all about the money. They count on fans that they will go to a cinema and leave some money.
I think the nice tribute to Freddie was at Wembley Stadium in 1992.

I have my problems with movie biographies in general. You know what this person looks like and seeing an actor pretending to be that person is something that I don't buy. I mean throughout the film I still think it's an actor pretending to be a real person. I have had this problem with every biography I have seen, wether it was Lady Di, Buddy Holly or Jonny Cash (no matter how brilliant Joaquin Phoenix' performance was). I only see the actor and never the person he portrays in the film. So I don't think seeing someone pretending to be Freddie in a film is a no-no for me. Let alone that it's of course for making money. As if they didn't have enough of it!  ;D |

I don't know what to think. I can't really imagine anyone playing Freddie, it would be pretty hard to find someone who could pull it off. And as for Roger... he's the almighty! Nobody plays Roger like Roger, he's unique!

I´m looking forward for the film. Certainly nobody can play the role of Freddie or Roger, the curly one or the quiet one authentically but I don´t expect anything like this and so it´s not too bad for me. All I hope is to get some news of their lifes we don´t know up to now.... ;D

I can see your point Brigitte and totally understand it!! I have to say though I have seen the johnny cash film and found it very good but as I didn't really know johnny cash perhaps I was watching it thinkin' it's a film and I'm to be entertained. I don't think I could watch a Queen movie like that coz I feel like I know these guys personally and although I don't (well not really) I wouldn't be able to enjoy the film |

It does start to feel like you kind of know them personally when you've been a fan for quite some time. I guess I'll have to wait and see how I feel if it does get made. Right now it's hard for me to imagine anybody playing Freddie. They could get someone who would end up doing a brilliant job though. |
