You'd better not say again that too loud or my curse will reach you wherever you are, Jenny.

I agree Alessia! If they did record something it would have to be Queen and Paul! I know the press never seem to notice but they always say in interviews etc that it is a new thing not Queen bless em!!! But they still have to I can't wait!!!!!! But once I have more dosh this time! As for the tension I think it has to be hard to integrate into a band that already know each other so well. Spike was in Queen and the cross, Jamie was in the Brian May band and they have all worked together for years except Danny and Paul! and Paul is so quiet anyway i think it must be really hard!!!

Paul is the one I have met the most on this tour. He always takes the time to stop unlike Brian and Roger. He is so sweet and lovely and Cynthia is so nice too! And Paul knows my name (and alessia's!!). AHHHHH!
Not sure if I can take any more touring- well I can but my money can't!!! Think I might have to get a bank loan soon!

Errr...does that mean you're not going to any of the US and Japan gigs, Sarah? I'm gobsmacked. The NRF (new royal family) is supposed to attend every gig, eh?

There are just a couple of things I'd like to say about this collaboration - I hope you'll forgive me for bringing personal stuff into this, but I think it's relevant. I was absolutely overjoyed when the tour was announced - despite my love of Queen as a teenager, I'd never seen them live. The associations of Queen's music with my mother's illness and passing when I was only 15 was just too much, although I still kept listening, I'd tied the group up with those events in my mind and wanted to keep it behind me as the years went by. As I said, when this tour was announced I was overjoyed. At last I could have some compensation for what had happened back then; removing that shadow that had been stuck there for so long. So when, around the beginning of this year, journalists started to criticise the decision, I wrote a letter to each of the papers which had produced negative articles answered by Brian on his site. I was quite furious about the rudeness and ignorance of these critics, and I copied the letters I'd written to Brian's site - they appeared there as some of you may know. But then, as details of how the decision to tour actually emerged, all the discussions and comments from media and fans alike suddenly became totally superfluous to me. Why? The realisation that the Hall of Fame gig in November, where the 3 of them really cemented that relationship, took place in Hackney (at the Empire) - and my mother had died in Hackney hospital 27 years before!!! The coincidence was too bizarre to be ignored - the very place where I'd 'lost' the music was the same as the place where it was, in effect, found again!!! So I had no doubts at all, in any case, from that point on. My personal story is related on my site and that was the initial purpose of setting it up last autumn. Little did I know then that anything like this would happen! A few more patterns and parallels on the whole thing are mentioned on this page: www.now-im-here.com/midtour.htmThanks if you've taken time to read this post all the way through!

I love that saying! Working on New Jersey now, no way to LA- Japan, who knows?!!!
