Just wondering, does anyone know whether or not Roger or Brian will tour again sometime after their current tour? I would love to see R live doing his solo work.. so far I have only seen him on the Q+PR tour at Hyde Park, unfortunately I was only 8 when he last toured!!

I rather doubt that Roger or Brian will tour solo again. It looks like they feel very comfortable with being Queen again and the solo work was mostly because they wanted to create something on their own, getting rid off the stigma Queen.

Agreed- I don't think they will ever do solo tours again but I think they will do more with Paul Rodgers. Shame they didn't include even one of Roger's solo songs in the set list as they did one of Brians!

Why "Last Horizon" and no Roger song? Although I loved LH. Gave me shivers down my spine when I first saw the mirror ball!

I must admit that when I first heard LH @ Brixton and Roger hadn't played one of his solo stuff by the end of the gig I was angry!! It wasn't fair - being the Roger fan that I am!! Still I'm sure there was a good reason for it

I would like to know why there was no Roger solo song. He had the lyrics on "Radio Gaga", "Say it's not true", "These are the days...", "I'm in love with my car", drum solo, sometimes half of "Hammer to fall" and "Under Pressure" once. Brian did "39'", "Love of my live" and half of "Hammer to fall", guitar solo and "Last Horizon". That makes 4 full songs each.

That makes 4 full songs each. I think Sarah might talk about "Last Horizon" which is a Brian solo thingy. The others you mentioned were all Queen songs and not solo material. Am I clever or what? No, don't answer this! ;D

No, don't answer this! ;D You are right! ...and clever too! I dunno, but I think a Roger solo song would have been kinda irritating for all those, not so familiar with Roger's solo stuff. They may have thougt that was a new Queen song or so.

Hyde Park was amazing but it would have been twice as great if they had done My Country I & II as well! You know, i think i might have seen Sarah and Jen there right up near the catwalk.. :S Not entirely sure as i've only seen photos but i remember a few girls shouting mad things up at Bri and Roger!!!

How can you say that people would find it irritating for Roger's solo stuff to be played yet we are all supposed to be okay with Last Horizon!! I know we could argue about this till the cows come home but Strange Frontier or Man on Fire would've got the crowd going even if they didn't know them!! p.s molly - you couldn't miss us in the hen night gear LOL

I forgot to add something when I posted this above. Of course Roger's solo stuff would be more than suitable for the tour, it's rather that an instrumental like "Last Horizon" is kinda easier to "understand" than one of Roger's solo singles. For the average audience, like my hubby for instance. When Roger sang "Say it's not true" he kept asking me what kind of song this is. Whereas when Brian did "Last Horizon", he just listened to it, like to another guitar solo. Hell, I don't know how to explain it properly. No offence against Roger and his solo stuff.
