Oh yes he does. But I can't help. I love the hairy one despite his bad manners. ;D

Hells bells, if it were Brian we were hearing this stuff about, people would be sending get well cards and messages... I'd do it for Brian AND for Roger - but where can one address a letter? To the fans club? Mmmh...I'm not sure...

I think that everybody that is employed has to do his job no matter in what mood we are. That's the disadvantage of *having* to work! ;D You know, employed or not, I can't help seeing that as Roger's job... (I mean, the performing part of it). I think that famous people are simply looked at being at work all the time when you bump into them. They may go shopping, etc. As soon as they bump into fans they are asked to sign stuff and pose for photographs. Is this on or off stage then.... Well, you're right here, and I know that we can be wrong in many ways in our attitude toward them. But when I use the words "on stage" I literally mean "on" that . That's all folks! I gave more then my 2 cents here - I should have my own soapbox like Brian! ;D

Okay, everyone is giving their 2 cents, so I'd like to have a go as well. Now, I don't read the QOL message boards so I don't know exactly what people are saying, and from what I've read about it hear, I don't WANT to read it cause it would just piss me off. This sort of talk about Roger has been going on for years. Personally, I like the fact that Roger prefers to keep his private life private. I guess I enjoy the mystery. I love the fact that Roger isn't afraid to say "F*** Off! It's none of your business!", when he wants to. That's one of the things I've always loved about him. If Roger communicated with the fans the way Brian does, he wouldn't be Roger. So he didn't give a convention message and he didn't give a speech at the WWRY thing, so what! Worse things could happen! Right now, I'm more concerned about his health than anything. Especially since I just read the news that he won't be appearing at that Highclere event (or whatever it's called) after all. Of course, we don't know the reasons why, but it makes me worry even more. If he doesn't show up for the VH1 Rock Honors thing, then I'm really gonna worry. Who cares about messages and speeches when theirs news of him being sick enough to be hospitalized. Hells bells, if it were Brian we were hearing this stuff about, people would be sending get well cards and messages, they'd be freaking out..."Poor Brian"...I'm so sick of that! All I care about right now is knowing that Roger is okay. All that other bullshit doesn't mean diddly squat to me at the moment. I'm just hoping and praying that Roger is okay. To me, that's more important than anything right now. I'll worry about the other stuff later, first things first! I second every word in your post! and i third it! exactly what I was thinking and tried to write in the brian thread! @sam completely agree! Rog Rocks!

OK, here are my 2 cents... Have the "fans" on QOL ever considered the fact that maybe Brian is too nice?? IMO he's one of the most friendly rock stars on this planet, which makes Roger look "bad" no matter what he does... Don't blame Roger for not being Brian!! I think, that's the point!! Show me at least one rock star with Brian's attitude towards his fans. I honestly can't think of one... That's why it's not fair to compare Brian with Roger!

It would be good if we could get a "get well soon" card to him but I can't think of anyway of doing that. The fan club obviously isn't an option. The only way is through unofficial means which would mean possibly upsetting him in the process which we dont want....but it would be nice to have one signed by everyone and sent on.

I'm reading and I'm reading. And I'm stating, that Roger is typical rocker.

Theres two sides to it its always an invasion of his privacy cos its (one of his) personal address or we're only passing on best wishes, we're not asking anything from him and theres no other way of doing this.

I see...just hoped there was another way that I didn't know of (like a third part). Well, I suppose that if he's trying to keep this thing private, we can't possibly turn up with a letter...
