Brilliant post!! I'd love to see the reactions if roger had come on and all he'd said was 'F*** off I can't be arsed to say anything' LOL [/quote] Oh yeah!!! Now that WOULD be brilliant!! LMAO!! If Roger would have done that and I was present to witness it, I would have been the first one to give him a standing ovation! "YAY!!!" Then on my knees shouting "We're not worthy, we're not worthy!!!" Haha, thanks for the visual, I love it!!

I probably would've been pissed off with it to begin with but if someone had started clapping I probably would've joined in and started laughing - bless him ;D

Why not send it to his companies address?? That wouldn't really be an invasion of privacy would it?? yeah thats an idea, but will it actually get to him? and how many different companies and subcompanies does he have? No idea but I thunk it would be best to send it to Nightjar productions!

Rethinking about the matter...we're not supposed to know anything about Roger's health, so I doubt it will be a good idea to actually write to him about that...I'm not sure he would like it . All the things we know are from unofficial sources and were never confirmed...Mind you, I'm pretty sure that there's something in them, but no one talked about the matter in a positive way...nay, Neil more or less called back his post about it on the QOL board. So...I don't know!

I agree on this, Roberta. Sure, it would have been a lovely idea to send him a "get well soon" card, but what if he doesn't want anybody to know about his condition? If I was him, I would be quite irritated or even angry.

I was wondering - apart from the present circumstances, did any of you write to him in the past (and if so, where to), and did he/anyone replied? I found an old interview ("Happiness?" era) where he says something about being given "a great feedback" from fans by their letters...(I can't quote because the interview was translated in italian). It would be nice to have a try, after this confused period comes to an end and one can talk about other things (like music) . "You may say I'm a dreamer...but I'm not the only one..." .

Didn't Sarah or Jen hand the letter to his PA? OK, I've got a confession to make... When I still was young and naive ( LOL) me and my mate Nicole made a pic of us together: with a big cake, silly birthday hats, balloons etc and loads of roger + brian pix on the wall. We sent both pix to Roger and Brian as a birthday "present", LOL. Don't remember to which address, Nicole arranged it. Never received a response btw, I think they both were too shocked! ;D ;D ;D

Yes, I've also written to him, back in 1999 or so I think, but I also didn't get a replay (I was told, I wouldn't get it, but I wrote anyway)... I send it via FanClub...
You're right Roberta, we know nothing on his sickness, so he might not like the idea of postcard (especially if sth really bad was happening to him and he wouldn't like anyone to know about it!)
I really hope he's okay, otherwise I would have got a nervous breakdown!

Yes jen handed the letter to his PA I'd bet Roger never saw that! (Just a guess). It would be nice to have the chance to write a letter to Roger some day, just to let him know how we feel about him...I mean, even without receiving an answer, but knowing he actually read it. Anyway, even if we should get a reply, some employee could have written that for him...being things as they are, at least we know that no one fooled us!
