The only thing I remember is that it was a P.O.Box address. I'll have to see if I still have it somewhere. And it sure was a nice response, and a nice surprise to find in my mailbox. He didn't reply right away, so I wasn't expecting anything at all. And the letter was handwritten. Actually, it was more like a note, not long enough to be considered a letter, on Brian May letterhead with the "back to the light logo", very nice. So if you're wondering if he replies himself or has someone else do it, he indeed does it himself!

Hmmm, thought I posted this already, but I don't see it, so I'll just go again. I have written to Roger, not too long ago in fact. I sent him a thank you card along with some photos that I took at the Walk of Fame thing in Hollywood/LA. I sent it via Brian May, not the fan club. Two envelopes, one with Mr. Brian May written on the outside, the other with Mr. Roger Taylor written on the outside, only on Roger's I attached a note to Brian, asking him if he could please pass it on to Roger, that I didn't know where else to send it, that I'd be grateful, etc. I know Brian recieved it because he sent me a letter thanking me for the photos, "especially the ones showing my lovely daughters"...awww, along with a signed cd. I never heard from Roger, but didn't expect to. I'm convinced he got it though. Why would Brian keep it? Awww...that's been very nice of Brian. He really cares of his fans. I have heard several stories of people sending him handwritten letters and get a response.

I'm sure Brian isn't ALWAYS complaing after doing something . Maybe he just hates autographs, but hasn't got the nerve to deny people's requests for them...He isn't always nice in what he says on his soapbox (I remember his tale about 2 women smoking in a restaurant before the ban, and the way he handled them), but it's sweet from him to actually write back/respond to people as much as he can . It's not like we think he's nice as opposed to Roger who's not! At least, it's not what I mean . Dodo, do you have Brian's address?

wow i miss alot here when I cant get here during the day. Hey why dont we all send Brian a email and ask how Roger is? And that we are all worried about his health for there are all rumors going on about his health? Maybe Brian will respond someplace? to someone? Cant hurt to try.

Hey why dont we all send Brian a email and ask how Roger is? And that we are all worried about his health for there are all rumors going on about his health? Maybe Brian will respond someplace? to someone? Cant hurt to try. It's tempting...but I doubt we can get any confirmation or what. If Brian says it's all right, we won't be likely to believe him...And if we write to Brian something like "we just want Roger to know we're worried and we think of him, hoping that the rumours are false"...well, he (Roger) won't be very pleased anyway, I guess . I'd like to have a try with Brian, but really don't know...What do the others say?

I used to adore Brian, thought he was so gracious. But ever since the soapbox arrived...well, let's just say I don't think he's all that. He's still one of the greatest guitar players on the planet though.

Brigitte has just posted this on another thread. Never mind, there can't be enough threads to wish Roger a quick recovery. I'm sure Brian was looking after him, when he recorded the message. You know they live quite close. They don't live anywhere near each other, except they both have London pads which they use from time to time. Well, they live about 25 miles from each other in their surrey mansions.
