;D After reading the interview on Brian's website I was rather pleased to hear he is more interested in writing and recording new material and tour. What do you think?

Hi, the first official member speaking out here for the very first time - thought I should bring some life to this board ;D I really think Roger should get his act together once again instead of playing "We will rock you" for the umpteenth time. How about a new record - his fans would really love it! There is still enough time to enjoy his old age pension later on.

I fully agree with you. Of course I'd rather see some new material released instead of the umpteenth WWRY version, but it's better than nothing after all. And Roger could easily produce/record another solo record! How about that?! We would love it! Sorry Queenie, moved your last post into this topic. I thought it would fit better here.... I think he could in fact produce/record another solo record. I loved "Electric Fire" (more than "Happiness?" btw). His Nightjar Prod. is still active so why not? This is seems to be easier to do than agree with Brian to tour as Queen, Queen-, Queen+ or whatever they would call it. After all he is a musician and I don't think you can just stop being one.

Fully agree with you. How can you stop being a musician?

I bet he would tell in a "nice way" that this is none of your business... On the other hand, as far as I remember he sold his studio equipment as well when he moved house. Could that be a sign that he is really through with it? I truly hope not!

Hm, maybe renting a studio is cheaper in the long run than to buy a large house with a built-in studio ...
Personally, I would have enough room for another RT CD in my collection ;D

Queenie, maybe I do make a mistake while thinking about your post. BUT he already had a studio. Isn't it much cheaper to take the already paid studio equipment into the new house THAN to rent a studio. Sorry, might be because I am blonde.... ;D Or am I missing the point here?

True! He had all that, but maybe he couldn't afford the cleaning lady for the studio anymore - LOL ;D

You make a point here.... Given the fact that he didn't use it for so many years. But he did let the studio a couple of times over the last years. That should be enough money to pay the cleaning lady even if she had to remove literally inches of dust! ;D
Maybe we should collect some money for him to build a new one?!

5 years is indeed a long time. But I guess Roger's understanding for span of time is totally different from ours. I would love to think he is beside himself with anticipation of the thought to tour again. But I rather doubt it, unfortunately, that there will be something new for us shortly...

I guess we must also take into consideration that they ain't gettin' any younger

That's why he/they seriously should hurry up. We are not getting younger as well, though. I don't want to go to a Roger concert and be addressed as the mother of a fan (what a thought... )
