I scored the net last night and was unable to come up with a chart position of "Blue Rock". I would go as far as to say that this album did not chart at all...

I find it hard to believe thath Blue Rock didn't chart at all. After all the promotion of the album, I think it charted.

Knuti, just because I couldn't find anything does not mean it did not chart, I just did not find any entries. Whereas the other two albums did chart or better said were said to have charted. If you find anything please let us know. It was a very good album and I find it hard to believe myself.

I don't know Manipulator. Let's discuss the albums one by one and start with Shove it, ok? That's the one I like least. The songs are kinda strange but they still have nice melodies. Unfortunately I own the European release of the CD, which means that I don't have the version where Roger is singing the complete Heaven for everyone and I also have that stupid 2nd shelf mix instead of another song (http://www.queencollector.com/Discograhy/crossdisc.htm). I'll say something about the songs I have here as mp3s (the CD is at home). Cowboys and Indians: Not one of my favorites but nice, especially the refrain (sad). The shouting ('hey-hey-hey' etc) in the background is weird. Contact: I didn't like it in the beginning but now it's one of my favorites of this album. Very romantic. Heaven for everyone: It's a great song, I love the finger clicking in the beginning. In the Queen version I always miss the middle part where Roger's singing. Very sexy. "So take a seat, sit by my side a while..." *sigh* I wish I could... Stand up for love: Another one of my favorites of this album, a very positive song. I like the gospel-rock mix style. Love on a tightrope: Sounds a bit like Radio Ga Ga in the beginning. I think the song has melodic parts, which I like most ("When you smile.." and "When you wish upon a star... "), the rest is mediocre.

Shove It doesn't really do anything for me - amazingly enough!! Although when I did first get it I really loved Love Lies Bleeding for some unknown reason Not sure about the rest!!

Shove it, heaven't heard this albim in a while... Typical 80's record, definately my least favourite Cross album. IMO the best songs are Heaven fore everyone, contact, love lies bleeding and love on a tight rope.

What did he call it the Cross? Anything to do with religion? I don't think so. AFAIK Roger's not to keen on religion.

Mad, bad and dangerous to knowGreat album! I also like the title. Perhaps someday I'll put it on a shirt. So many good songs... Top of the world ma: "when we get gymnastic"... *no.comment* Liar: I love it, it's great! One of my favorites. Power To Love: Great hymn! Foxy Lady: Well, I never really liked that song, no matter who plays it (Little Wing by Hendrix is great) Better Things: I like that one very much; the lyrics are great, too Old men: Also one of my favorites, especially the beginning; typical Taylor lyrics, don't you think? Final Destination: Very beautiful, too. "I would feel that I could ski right of the bridge of your pretty nose." ;D
