Since so many of us have cats I thought I'd start a thread where we can share stories, pics, etc. Our cat was hurt today. Not badly, I hope. The door to the balcony suddenly closed and he got caught between it. He screamed a bit. I hugged him, his hindpaws trempled a bit and I think he had a bit of a shock. But when I touched him, "squeezed" a bit, he didn't react like he's got pain, so I hope everything's alright. My mum is very worried, which makes me more worried, too. She said he might have inner bleedings. We always wanted to buy something you can put in the door, so that it doesn't close. There seems to be something like that especially for balcony doors or pets or something, friends told my parents. But I've never seen something like that.

Sorry to hear about your cat's accident! I don't have cats so I won't have much to contribute, but I'll read your stories instead.

I don't have cats either but I like to think of Trina's two - soly and dibs (Soloman and Dibley) as my own Hopefully if she'll allow me I'll scan the pic of when they were kittens, they are so adorable ;D

Ours is called Tommy (after the cat in Tom & Jerry) and he's 18. He's alright, nothing serious happened. You know how it is. I wasn't too worried myself yesterday but when other people are more worried it kind of takes over... You know what I mean?

Sorry to hear Tommy had this accident. As an overprotetive cat mother of two myself I know how bad this is. But fortunately cats are very tough! So I do think he should be ok.... As for the rest: Post some pics of your hairy monsters if you like. I will for sure!

What a cute kitten! He looks like he can be quite cheeky though! LOL He's no kitten anymore, he's 18! Well, he can be quite stubborn and a little bit cheeky when he climbs on the table to smell the advent wreath when no-one's watching. Awwwwwwww he's lovely Elenir - give him a hug from me ;D I will.
